Your favorite reel out of box no upgrades

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Agree there....granted I have never upgraded any of my spinning reels. BTW, the FD is just as nice and has its own unique feel and attributes vs the FE.

Glad to see some Patriarch love! I own 7 standard casting patriarchs n love them! casts and looks awesome never had dying performance like others claim (just standard maintenance nothing special), feel like they are one of the most under estimated reels and better than a few that are highly praised.

Can't believe no one mentioned the Steez SHA. Also, the Calcutta 100 DC, the Calais 100A, and the Conquest 50 are mentioned a bunch and are 3 of my faves...am a bit surprised though they made so many people's number 1 slot, because of the 70mm handles.
