Reel Painting?

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Reel Painting?

What do you do to prep the surface of the reel before painting? And what type of paint do you use? Air brush or spray paint? Links to some sites would be helpful. :D

spray paint :?: :?: :?: only if your painting a zebco 33. after seeing some of Cal's work I had the painter at my dad's auto body shop do a reel for me and it came out really well, with the clear coat on it the paint should last for years. I would ask Cal, he would know best

and id spraypaint a zebco in a heartbeat!!! pink all day! :big grin:
