STRADIC 4000fi or SUSTAIN 4000fb w 10# PP

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Looking for opinions on which would work best for Redfishing with 10# Power Pro a STRADIC 4000fi or a SUSTAIN 4000fb. Thanks for your thoughts.

For me, it would depend on the price more than anything. Both are great reels.

Either way I wouldn't mess around with 10# PowerPro and would go with 20, especially if you will be releasing fish. It will also tie up better with the leader material you will want to use.

you will need a ton of 10lb braid to fill the 4000 size reel. I'd go to 20-30 and use different leaders.
Let's go fishing!!!

x2 on this. If you are just messin around using pole floats for speck's then 10 will do fine, but for Reds, you really want at least 15-20lb braid.

The older Sustain FB doesn't handle small braids so well...I wil go withthe new Stradic FI.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

I would go with Sustain currently waiting on the FG but the Stradic are nice also.
