IF the new spy photo of the new Curado is the new Curado....

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Actually the new Chrony is heavier than the 50E was. Knob weight?
Right the 50s are different weight and I'm guessing it's the knobs or handle, but I'm pretty Sure the 200 is identical spec wise, right?
I keep forgetting there is 2 size Chronarchs now. You're right, the 200 seems exactly the same as the Curado 200e.

Deeper? Same line capacity as 2010 50 reels, no?

part of the weight loss on the Curado 200G vs. 200E is losing 2 of the bearings...and the plastic drag star.

Not things to get overly thrilled about losing IMO.

No, the new Curado G holds a lot more than the Curado 50E does. 10/155 compared to 10/105

I was hoping Shimano would release something that would make me buy one. Looks like my Daiwas will just have new Daiwa friends joining the group. And maybe an Abu MGX...

Well it's not a Chronarch  .

It's a Curado 200E repainted and called a Chronarch 200E ](*,) [-X .

Correct. I was just stating they do not have the same line cap.

X2 ! hope it bridges the gap between Chronarch $199 and Core $349 and fits in around the $279 or $$299 mark with some wow factor to it ... [-o<
