Daiwa & Shimano Reel Features.

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Daiwa & Shimano Reel Features.

Post by Bassboss » Thu May 05, 2011 3:31 am

I'm doing a report where I'm comparing 2 things, Daiwa And Shinano. I need a list of the features on each reel, and how they work. I was wondering id any of yall know? For example the Free Floating, and super free spools on daiwa and shimano casting reels. HEG, VBS, Magforce, bearing quality, and so on.

Thanks

Each reel will be different and usually the more the reel costs the more features and better quality.

Take one of the highest quality of each for instance the Steez and Core, go to the manufactures websites listed by ecu and click the link to each reel. There is a list of all the reels "features"

Shimano top end would be Calais 200/201 DC - significant differences in DC control. Round reel baitcasters I would look at Calcutta TEC250DC with DC control. =D>

Diawa for working the lures.
Shimano for working the fish.
