Curious to know what application everyone uses their Zillion 7.1 and 7.3 for?

burn spinnerbaits and lipless cranks....nothing else really its too fast...

Zillion Type R - Jig, Rip, Frog

I use mine for, frogs, jigs, burnning spinnerbaits and flipping.

I use it jigs, senkos, any baits that doesn't require much movement. Its too fast for my style fishing, which is in the back of the boat...if I'm lucky.

I just got the 7.3 and used it for the first time today, pitchin'. High speed is for jerkbaits, pitchin', flippin', froggin', lipless cranks and topwaters.

I like fast reels for texas rigs and jigs. Nothing worse than seeing a bass take off with you bait and not being able to reel in the slack fast enough

I like 7:1 for my river fishing. There is often a very short strike zone right next to shore, and it's a matter of cast, twitch, twitch, twitch, and burn it back because you are drifting downstream and need to get to that next sweet little pocket in the boulders before it's too late! Mostly throwing plastics or topwater.

the only thing it doesn't really do well is cranking

I use my zillion 50th for dragging big jigs. I like the fast ratio for taking up slack line quickly. Thinking of picking up a zillion coastal for my other jig rod...

wow ! i'm surprised no one said buzz baits or buzz frogs unless that's what you mean by frogs and topwater

I use my 50th for topwaters and pitching jigs

Everything. I don't use anything less than 7:1!
