Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

I'm hoping for a new Sustain considering that the Twinpower was updated this year.

Okuma is introducing a few new low profile reels. Including two or three high end reels above the Serrano that will be very light weight in the low six ounce area. Also new micro guide rods, and C3x rods.

Also looks like Abu will release a new line of spinning reels under the orra name. And a revamp of black Max and silver Max reels. The orras will go as high as a 60 size with 250y cap. Of 12 pound test. They will also have a orra sx 10 with 110yd of 4 pound line.

I forgot about the Fenwick rods.
Someone had posted them sometime ago before the great crash.
I like them.

Not reel related, but look for the orange rods to come out in new colors.

Hopefull ICAST brings me a USDM version of the Z2020 plus a left hand 1016 and available in 5.1, 6.4 and 7.1 for both the 2020 and 1016. Wouldn't hurt if they did the same with the round version Pluton and provided a 300 and 400 size for us big bait enthusiast. Hopefully I'm not asking for too much. Oh, Dobyns creates a 807ML and perhaps an 808ML for the truly monster wooden/plastic imitations for trophy bass and a saltwater species or two. Wouldn't mind a Type R for 5.1 with the carbon handle and suped up bearings plus beefed up drag. Oh, before I forget, Shimano finally start to address their left hand following as they did in years past versus claiming the 10% isn't worth their warehouse space and show some love to those of us that crank with the correct hand. lol

Here's hoping the USDM Pixy is saltwater safe.
