Steez spool

Reels are the hottest topic for TackleTour. Everyone wants to know what the latest and greatest is and how they compare to the old guard. What's the best for light stuff, or what's your suggestion for heavy cover. Do we really need different retrieve ratios? It's all in here.

Steez spool

I know there is a difference in the spools between the 100 and 103. Is that the only difference and if so are those spools interchangeable?

the 100 spool holds more line and has a regular inductor and magfoce Z breaking, the 103 has a TYPE R+ tuned inductor and magforce V breaking. The 103 spool is better for pitching, and lighter lures.

I dont believe that they are interchangable.

Steez spools are interchangeable.TD-Z spools(excluding 100 spools)will also work just fine in a Steez. This gives you a wide range of choices when it comes to braking systems, tuned inductors, spool weights and depths :D

what if you had a spool spacer? couldn't you have a 100 spool in a steez then?

Just to clear things up a bit,Steez 100 and Steez103 spools are interchangeable.
TD-Z 103 and TD-Z 105 spools will fit the Steez reels no problem. The TD-Z 100 spool will not fit a Steez reel. The TD-Z 100 spool has a larger diameter so spacers don't even come into play.Spacers can be used on a Steez reel to accommodate Pixy/Presso spools.
