Have you guys seen the new Zillion rods?

Looks like there was a leak:

Introducing the revolutionary Daiwa Zillion Bass Rods, designed to elevate your angling experience to new heights. These rods are packed with cutting-edge features and expert craftsmanship, delivering unmatched performance and precision.

The Carbon MQ Grip butt section increaseses sensitivity and reduces overall weight of the blank- also providing unparalleled control and comfort, reducing fatigue during long casting and retrieving sessions. The Flex Light blank strikes the perfect balance between sensitivity and power, allowing you to feel even the subtlest nibbles while handling hard-fighting bass. Thanks to Daiwa's proprietary SVF Nanoplus technology, these rods offer exceptional strength and responsiveness, enhancing your connection to the underwater world.

With X45 technology reducing rod twist during casting, you can enjoy more accurate and longer casts. The Air Sensor Seat minimizes contact points with your hand, enhancing sensitivity and helping you detect the most delicate bites. The Fuji K Guide system ensures durability and smooth line management, reducing friction and line tangles for a hassle-free fishing experience.

Whether you're a seasoned angler or just starting out, Daiwa's Zillion Bass Rods are designed to provide unmatched performance, sensitivity, and control. I haven't seen anything yet, but sounds intriguing. The carbon mq butt grip section has me intrigued, is this Daiwa's take on the carbon monocoque handle Shimano has been utilizing?

Hmmmm...will the Zillion slot in between the Tatula and Steez?

It's been a while since we've seen a Zilly stick.

Website I found it on has it removed now--but LBF has them up on their website--only showing the spinning model.

Daiwa missing the mark again for me...boring, expride copy, no JDM flair. It couldn't be more bland and uninspired.

With all the amazing real seats Daiwa has that one looks incredibly uncomfortable. Might as well use an ACS.

Bummed as I have both the previous models.

Why would I spend $300 on this when i can get a JDM steez for that price? This thing is horrible aesthetically. I belive it is just a half assed attempt at capitilizing off the popularity of the zillion name.

Having a valid warranty and getting some AGS actions and blank for $200 less than a Steez will work for a lot of people. I own three Steez sticks but if I can get the power pitch without AGS guides I’m all in.

I understand the jdm discount but for 90% of the masses they want what they can buy at Tackle Warehouse or their local shop. We’re enthusiasts and we’ll go further than most to chase gear.

Shimano is the Michael Jordan of fishing rod styling, and everyone wants to 'be like Mike'. Heck even Sedition copied the Monoque.

This is how I feel about these rods--for the same price you could pick up a JDM rod, but if you're getting a Steez blank without AGS guides--sign me up.
