So I ended up finding a new Conquest 843 spinning rod for $350 and couldn’t pass up on that deal. I haven’t fished it yet but it feels pretty powerful. I was thinking about using it for throwing weightless senkos around cover. Anybody else have this stick? What else is it good at?

I have handled and fished glx 842s, nrx 852s, 853s in E6x and conquest 842s. 853 is a powerful spinning rod. I would use for larger topwater, worms, large grubs, tubes, larger jerbaits, ect... If I owned the rod it would be doing saltwater baits. Great inshore rod.
