I own the above rod. I’m looking for something with comparable specs BUT a little bit lighter in weight. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a glass rod regularly, probably 25 years ago, a Quantum Tour Edition. I tried again maybe 20 years ago, an Evergreen JDM Super Nova 6’6” that I didn’t like at all, too sloppy.
Anyway, one of the things I like about the Evergreen America 7’ rod is a total handle length of 16”. It’s easier to tuck the handle along my forearm when both casting and retrieving.
