Good news for Falcon rod fans

Post by fishindad » Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:59 am

FYI, I ordered a few things from the Falcon website and they were kind enough to include their 2020 catalog. Even though it doesn't state that any of their rods are made in the US, they are going to have the Caras, including the micro guide versions (CCM) and the Mike McClelland versions (MMC)!!

It states the blanks are not the same as the Expert blanks (T3 with Crossmatch) so maybe the blanks are made in the US??? I'm not connected with Falcon in any way, just a true Cara rod lover :D

I had one cara and sold it. I found the spine was way off and had issues with heavy Hookset wanting to torque the rod over to one side. Damn sensitive rod though and I'm glad to see them move away from the ACS seat.
