Expride 7' light spinning
Has anyone tried this rod out?
I have a spare CI4+ 1000 size reel that would be perfect for this...

I've been fishing this rod for the past season and it's been great. Very light and sensitive. Great for 1/4 and under for my tastes and shines with 1/8 - 3/16 ounce weights.

i have one and love it for ds in open water.
Re: Expride 7' light spinning
Anyone has both the 7' light and the 6'10ML? I can't imagine a bass rod much lighter in action than the 6'10ML...does the 7' load deeper into the blank on fish?
Re: Expride 7' light spinning
I have a 7’ light plus as well. Excellent rod! Makes a nice ned rig rod, not bad open water ds rod, small hair jig, spybaits. Crazy light, sensitive, and so far has proven very useful, surprisingly powerful!

May I ask what size reels you guys are strapping to the 7' light plus? 1000 size or 2500 balance it out the best?? Thanks

I don't have the 7'L+ but I have the 6'8ML Zodias and it balances just a little bit above the lock nut with a Stradic Ci4+ 2500. I'd guess even with L+ power, at 7', you'd get better balance with a 2500 reel. It'll cast better too for that matter. Maybe this feedback is totally useless but hopefully it helps.Thunderblack1984 wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2020 7:52 amMay I ask what size reels you guys are strapping to the 7' light plus? 1000 size or 2500 balance it out the best??
