How can you even ask this question without indicating which (color) Zonda?

I don't think you can go wrong with the Hien, plenty of good things said about that rod. I've long admired the carbon handle version.

I think even the plain version the Zonda, the 10 had red (L) or gold (R) accents. Your a lefty if I remember correctly. I've contiplated a Zonda before too, the 68 with purple accents, if for anything, to give me a reason to buy the aftermarket Purple Honeycomb spool that fits it... :crying: I need help.

Some reference on these beuties..

The one I bought is the 68 with all the matte black, purple accents, and the unpainted lexan palm plate. If I was going for looks alone I'd seek a Super Trickster. I want to try a Megabass rod, and that seems like the perfect all around reel, so I was wanting a rod in the same vein. I would love the honeycomb spool, but being that it's already a suped-up version of a killer reel, I think I'll leave it alone for now.

I was just looking through that site last night. It's pretty awesome how it tells you the base reel used for all of their versions. How 'bout all those Paganis? I didn't know Isuzu made reels and I don't know if they're worth a damn, but they sure look the part, especially since I'm sure it would never leave my shelf.
This is the way.

I have the same reel with the purple accents and had a Powell Endurance 723 laying around so I put it on that since it color coordinates for now.

One day it'll be on the Megabass Destroyer Legend Works LTD "The Gambler" 30th...it has some purpleish accents

Excellent choice. I had the SV105HSL on my Hein for some time, then switched over to a Zonda. It's a well suited match for that reel. The choice is carbon head vs standard

I could make the colors match and get a M or MH Super Trickster and even get some Shooter BMS, make the brands match and get my first Megabass, or say to hell with matching it and go with another MS-X (probably the 69M/BF), a rod I know I'd like. Hmmm.....

As far as the Hein goes, no reason not to get the carbon head!

 Very true. I've had several guys planning to use it exclusively for moving baits and have opted for the standard version to save the $50. I can certainly understand that as well.

Very nice! Looks like fun to fish. I gotta get me a honey comb some day.

Come join the Zondas on Tricksters club. We could use a regular Zonda.
