I was under the impression that the reaction series were cranking series
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

The reaction series excelled at many things.
They can be used for cranking but most models had a fast action.
To me they were great for topwaters and jerkbaits.
I used the 7' heavy for frogs and buzzbaits.

Love the 7’ H/MF for frogging as well! That action is perfect for keeping big frog fish pinned. That rod was super versatile and could fish so many things well including big topwater, jigs, chatterbaits/spinnerbaits and of course Crankbaits. A BDS 3 felt perfect on this rod but threw as small as the BDS 1 with it and worked well. For rods that compare, look around for those Heavy powered graphite cranking rods such as the Dobyns 705cb or 706cb, by I can’t compare them directly.
