With all these 6'10" sticks I can't believe no one has mentioned the Oneten Special yet. I think that's too long, but you'd think it'd be the jerkbaitiest jerkbait rod out there.
This is the way.

What do you think of that BPM? I was eyeing that series.
It's a nice looking rod has good balance light and somewhat sensitive I can boat 2-3 lbers

I use a St. Croix Avid 6'2" M/XF (AVC62MXF) for all my jerkin', poppin', and walkin' lures.

It's also great for smaller plastics as well, it's one of my go-to rods for hike-in fishing as it's so short and light. I would never call any rod a "joy" to hike with the but the AVC62 is about as good as it gets for bushwacking rod.

Currently using the original gen Orochi XX Jerkbait special and absolutely love this rod for Jerkabaits and walk the dog style baits.

I have a custom Otterod built by Mattman on a 5C72MHM legend extreme blank for jerkbaits including 1 oz baits that I use with 10lb braid & a mono leader.
My other jerkbait rod is a kistler z bone LEXF 3 MH 7' 0" which I use with fluorocarbon for jerks including 1 oz baits.
I like moderate action rods with braid & fast or extra fast rods with fluro.

Tatula 701MRB. That + Shadow rap deep has caught me a ton of fish.

I prefer braid to leader with moderate rods too.

I bet that is an awesome rod. I think Randy Howell's 701MLRB would be great for 110's and Jr's, too. If I found one, I'd probably get it. They also came out with a 691MLRB I think towards the end of the run for that series.
This is the way.

Aaaannnd there it is. Welcome to the forum. What's that rod like? I'm dying to know.

I forgot there's a Zillion 701MLRB too, which would be just killer. I don't think I'd use it for jerkbaits, but shallow cranks? Shhheeeeeeeit...

That's the one rod question that always comes up, and to which everyone will have a different opinion/response.
Jerkbait fishing will differ greatly from one angler to the next, I'm surprised no one suggested a spinning rod yet.

But since you asked, Jota Slant Bridge for myself.

I don't like spinning rods because it's a PITA to manage the slack.
