Anyone have any experience with this rod? Looking for a rod that do the off shore duties like as in throwing 1oz scrungers swimbaiys as in paddle tail style basstrixs, and Scottsboro on 3/4 to 1oz heads would this rod fit the bill to do the job? I want 7’11 because of the line pick up and power to drive those hooks home.

I think it would be perfect for those applications if you keep it 3/4 and up. I know a guy who uses it for ripping traps on Clear Lake.
