Re: Megabass levante
I'm happy to say that I'm excited about this new Levante line after having the opportunity to fish them. I think guys will be very happy with what they get at the $199 price point in this new series. We'll have the full line at the Bassmaster Classic in Knoxville, TN if any of you TT guys happen to get by thereM Perry wrote:The Levantes begin shipping next week so expect to see them in stores by the end of next week.

I can tell you that there is a possibility more models will be added to the US lineup over time. Not sure if any will migrate from the JDM offerings but I will try to get an answer on that soon.evilcatfish wrote:Wonder is any of the JDM models will land stateside?

That 6'7 3 power doe...
Re: Megabass levante
The F1-63 LVS spinning rod is the one I have my eye on. If it can really cast down to it's lower limit it will be a perfect creek rod for me.Tokugawa wrote:That 6'7 3 power doe...

Got my hands on a bunch of these today, and I’m quite impressed! Massive improvement over the first generation. Too bad my pitiful tax return didn’t come this past week, or of have bought at least one!

Re: Megabass levante
Really great looking and feeling sticks. In hand, they felt more relative to the XX rods than the previous gen. One difference, though, was the AKLYS felt lighter overall but not as balanced as the XX version. But it wasn’t bad for a 7’10” rod of that kinda power.

Yup! I got my EMTF yesterday too. The new Levantes are legit. Now if we only had open water...

I love hearing feedback like that. I think most will be impressed by them. Lot of work went into them.Tokugawa wrote: The new Levantes are legit.

In either case it sounds like I need to go to or talk to someone at a local tackle shop
