Team Daiwa "big green" sticks

Post by Moosehead » Sat Sep 01, 2018 9:29 am

Around 2007-2010 Daiwa made the TD green sticks and they sold for about $100. I thought I could find some for my son's Tierras. I found a couple but they are going for $130-$150 a rod.. I didn't think these rods were too special but the prices seem to suggest they are in higher demand than expected. Are these now collectible or something? I mean at that price I think I could find a better option. The old Light and Tough rods are also getting a much higher price than what was the full retail as well.. just a little confused.

I love my green sticks and LT’s but I don’t know that I would pay what they are going for now. So many good options out there now.

There were actually a remake from the same series from about 1997 to 2000. Look up the Denny Brauer flippin' rods.
