Zodias glass rod action

Post by KlingerNOK » Sat Aug 04, 2018 7:53 am

I've been eyeballing the 7'6" MH Zodias glass for a while and I was curious what kind of action it had.
Is it just a more parabolic graphite rod with a mix of glass or is it 1/2-1/3 glass with a graphite butt section, similar to the Glatech stuff from Daiwa?
I had an old Crucial crankbait rod that seemed to be nothing more than a mod-fast actioned graphite rod and I hated it- I like the smooth, buttery feel of glass.

I also hated the 7'6" Crucial model, the Zodias is SO much better if you're looking for a smooth glass feel. I bought it with good intentions but hardly ever use it, so I can't recall 100% but I'm pretty sure the blank incorporates glass into the same construction as the graphite rods as opposed to glass with a gaphite butt section.
