Steez XT rods...are they safe for your reel foot?

Do they have an insert in them or do they scratch the foot of the reel? Thanks!

Good Question! I never thought about that when buying any of my fishing rods. Figured it was a given that when you holstered your weapon for action, you had gotten past the asthetic of the reel foot. Interesting that people put that into the equation of a rod purchace.
Guess I will pull my IS's, Morethan, Battler, Exist, HLC and Certate from thier steeds and see the damage done.

The Tatula rods have a plastic insert in the lock nut so I would hope the Steez XT would too.

You might have to check. If you ever decide to sell those reels, that reel foot damage could be the difference of a few hundred dollars depending on condition.
