You mean get the actual scale weight?
I wish manufacturers would include rod weights like the do for reels.

Look at Japanese Shimano, Daiwa, Megabass, etc websites. They do include rod weights.

Yup the physical weight of the rod. And they are on the second series of them aren’t they?

I have a couple gen 2 exprides I'll throw on the scale for you, once I grab batteries for the scale. I'm curious myself...they feel pretty darn light and well balanced.

Thanks man! I’m looking at the 6’10 Med casting and the 7’2 MH, both graphite rods not the glass versions. Thanks

I thought the same thing...both seem true to rating, the 7'2 is slightly more tippy.

Does it feel pretty lively like it will be sensitive? Looking at that 7’2 MH pretty hard. But NRX and glx are always calling my name lol

It was 7’2 MH graphite, not the glass rod right?

The tip is more lively compared to the 6'8 (as you would expect being a longer rod with the same rating). When you drag a 3/8oz jig through chunk rock - sand transitions you can see the tip working clearly. Sensitivity is excellent, though I haven't compared it to NRX. The Expride are the first rods I've owned that gave consistent slack line sensitivity in braid.

I did briefly compare the 6'8 Expride to a 6'8 orochi xxx (Cover Hacking, so not exactly apples to apples), and the expride was more sensitive, at least in my hands.
