Zillion Jerkbait Rod (7' ML)

Post by Big-Bass » Fri Feb 23, 2018 6:05 am

Does anyone have any info on this rod? Looking at one right now for $165 new and wondering if I need it. Aside from jerkbaits, what other applications would it excel at? Also, is it a full grip or split? Thank you!

It is a great rod for jerkbaits, topwater, small swimbaits and squarebills.

Daiwa has removed the Zillion line from their website so they may be discontinued or are being revamped. They plan on releasing new products at the classic.

Yes I called Daiwa and they said they are discontinued. This rod is on the way for me. Unfortunately, I also ordered a Tatula 7' ML which arrived today in two pieces! I am bummed and have contacted the company that fulfilled the order from the site I ordered from. Hopefully they promptly get back to me.

I hope the Zillion is nice as I really like a short back handle for jerkbaits. How would this rod handle 110s? Thanks!
