Orochi XX - Extreme Mission Type F - Do I need it?

I'm thinking about picking up an EMTF while the XX's are on clearance. I've already got a GLX 853C and an 803C and 854C in an IMX. So my question to you guys is do I need the EMTF, or is it going to pull the same duty as my other bottom contact rods?
And as a follow up question, would an 852C give me more versatility to my current lineup?

Do you need it? lol. Do we need any of this stuff? Buy it. Its a great, versatile rod like all the XX lineup.

Does a crack addict need crack? If you answered yes you should probably go ahead and get that EMTF
Then again has also been mentioned, this is TT so even if you don't need it you should probably just get it

I’m battling the same decision. I already have a couple rods that probably overlap the EMTF, including a Diablo Spec R and a GLX MBR 844 and a Helium 3 4 power, but it’s been such a well regarded rod I’m really tempted to get one. I’ve held off because of its length, creates some storage and especially transportation challenges. I also just ordered the Dropshot Rod and bought several other new sticks this year. May just wait to see what the new gen has to offer. But so tempting.

Good call on the EMTF - these are getting close to being gone for good. Glad you got yours fishballer, you'll really enjoy it.

Just my $0.02 on the EMTF. IMHO, it is an incredible senko, fluke, northern style swim jig, and open hook swim bait (sweet spot is 1/4 - 3/8oz with up to 5" hollow belly swimbait) rod. It also does a good job with buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits around light to medium cover.

Great for T rigging, rubber jigs and one if my favorite larger TW staffs
I toss 1oz + Jackall OG Mikeys, I-Jacks, Deps Buzzjets, weighted/weightless buzz toads. One of the more versatile staffs you can get in my opinion, plus it's an awesome length and it has rad twin in the X7 series

Congrats on the XX. I was able to get the Flat Side Special and Diablo Spec R. I've heard nothing but great things about the EMTF. I would have gotten one but I have the X7 version.
And as for the snow pic for us southerners, we got 8" in north Atlanta two weeks ago!!! Crazy weather!
