Which St.Croix to get..

hi all,

I want to take advantage of the Gold Star Program for my Avid X and get a new Jig/Chatterbait rod.

Looking at the new St. Croix Legend Tournament, St. Croix Legend X Series. Wondering if anybody has experience with these?

I have three legends, two scv and one sciv. I love my SCV rods and the tournament is ok but just does not have the it factor that my other two do. I have the full cork handle more traditional models and they just get it done for me. The current rods now are 400 dollars and i had my latest scV built for about that price. I used a CFX carbon handle and the same standard reel seat. I dont think you would be disappointed in any way if you like the handle feel of the rods. Imo the blanks are top notch.
