Good call on the Hyuga. Everyone has what they like and dislike, personally, it fits the bill and accomplishes the tasks very nicely for me.
Regarding the XXX Destruction, it is unavailable for order at this time through The Tackle Trap. There is an issue that needs to be resolved with that specific model, and until it has been, we won't order them for customers.

hey gary, have you fished the carbon head faust? was thinking that might work for the small bullshad and some bbz-1 rats. looks slow and long enough on paper.
also, can you add me to your list for a X4 Destruction?

had the mephisto at my house for a about a month. felt so good in my hands but i could not deal with the claw. they way i palm the reel, i could not get comfortable. the rod felt so good that i looked into changing out the foregrip but ended up trading the rod.papabassin wrote:I throw 1-1.5oz swimbaits on a Megabass Evoluzion LWL Mephisto. It’s incredible.

Now I just need to actually catch something on it, if it gets too much longer I am going to take it to a pier and try for a catfish.
