St. Croix legend glass

Post by lifeofRiley » Mon Sep 11, 2017 8:40 pm

Did anyone try these rods yet? I have the power tackle 7' rod that Keith combs used to win most of his money. Now I'm looking at the legend glass. Primarily for 1.5 and 2.5 squarebills, and maybe 1/2oz. rattle traps. Either the 7 2 medium or 7 4 medium heavy.

I was just looking at these again myself. I need a squarebill rod, and am having a hard time. Loomis not releasing a new glx cranker at Icast put a wrinkle in my plans.

Loomis rods are usually "close, but no cigar." Across the board the actions are too fast and the previous version of crankbait rods had such a short handle/grip it's rediculous.
