New GLX casting rod reel seats

I have read some neagative comments on the new reel seats. Anyone with experience with these? What are your thoughts?

love them..wish all my loomis rods have this seat.

I've got two of them. An MBR and a JWR. Neither have caused me any issues.

I started a thread about this a while back. The new seat just seemed shorter...or more compact if you will. I'm used to it now; I just roll with two fingers behind the trigger instead of just one. Sold my two old 844's to swap for '16's to keep my lineup congruent.
