NRX 822s DSR

I'm really considering buying this rod primarily for drop shot of course but is it versatile enough to fish other techniques in a pinch? If so, what else are you guys using it for? I appreciate everyone's time! Thanks.

How deep you fishing? Most guys around here are switching to the 872S for drop shot.
