The 842s would be, the 843s is a bit to heavy IMO.

Are these using the same blanks for casting and spinning like the NRX rods?

If they are, the 843 would be too much for shakey heads. I haven't handled the 842 but, that should do fine.

Do the Conquest rods come with rod sleeves like the NRXs?

They do not come with a rod sleeve.

Got to handle a few of the Conquests yesterday, I now kinda want to sell my new-ish GLX 783MBR for the same spec Conquest. It is amazing how such a trivial difference in butt length can change the feel of a rod. In the end I don't think it is enough of a difference for how much money I would lose on the deal, but that Conquest feels like holding air.

I'm fishing the 902s, 903c, 904c, and 905c now. I'll be putting in a lot more time over the winter and spring with them, but overall, I'm very impressed with this entire series!!

Do these still have the lifetime warranty or the one time exchange card service?

They have the same warranty as any other Loomis rod as stated on their website.

I got to handle these rods at a sport show over the weekend, I was very impressed. I am glad I did because now I know that I should get the 4 power instead of the 3 power, the rods are very light

Not sure if you are buying it locally or not but, if you are ordering it from the Internet, I'd suggest The Tackle Trap. Fast shipping and speedy as well. Every rod I from there has been packed very well.

They are also a TackleTour sponsor as well :D

With all the great reviews I am seriously considering one of those jewels!

Currently I have the ZBONE 7'3 HXF 1/2-1.5 oz (use for heavier 3/4 Jigs), a Helium 3 7' HXF 3/8-1.5 that I am using for paddle tail swimabits (since I have covered most of my Jig needs with the ZBONE) and then the Orochi Spinnerbait special which is also a decent Jig rod.

I am wondering where a Conquest rod (for 1/2 jigs) would fit in and if I should replace one of my existing rods for a Conquest.

Thoughts?

Why can't there be a medium light casting or spinning version????

Does anyone have a comparable Expride 2017 to compare to any of the Conquest rods?

If so, is the difference in sensitivity readily apparent (say like between Zodias and Expride), or is the gap narrower?
