Picked up this rod for a good deal looking to use for Texas rigs any other options out there for best use of this rod?

It is a killer 1/2 oz jig rod.

I'm using mine for 3/8 and up jogs and t rigs, frogs.
It's incredible rod. Paired with zillion sv tw.
Have to try for topwater.

my rod of choice for t-rigs and jigs. I fish florida mostly and laydowns when fishing in Ky. Makes nice C-Rig rod and good for slow rolling paddletails.

Mine always seems to have a 4.8" Swing Impact Fat on it.

Jigs, Jigs, Jigs, and plastics, pegged or t-rigged 1/4 oz to 3/4 oz. If one likes tossing a C-rig, it's a great rod for that too, but I'd rather watch the grass grow toward the surface while tossing a frog in open water than throw one myself
