Kigan makes several variations in guides so you'll have to be more specific. However Dobyns used kigan zirconia guides in their older Champion extreme rods and there were some failures reported. I own 6 rods from that series and 4 out of the 6 rods needed guide repairs over a 6 year period. One rod had 3 guides needed to be replaced. I would still buy Dobyns rods even through the mishaps. Faithful customer... :D
