NRX 894c JWR and NRX 893c JWR - one two punch of a couple of the best bottom contact rods available to cover everything from 1/4 oz to 3/4 oz with ease and precision.

GLX 842, GLX 843, GLX 844 - with those three rods, one could effectively cover a massive spectrum of "general" bass fishing techniques. The new 2016 versions are excellent by the way, big thumbs up to Loomis for reintroducing the beloved 842 =D>

GLX 783 MBR - One of my favorite utility rods if I'm running out and can only grab one for the car/truck for pond hopping, etc.

NRX 852s/872s JWR - phenomenal 1/4 oz jig, light t-rig, shakey head type spinning rod, handles tubes nicely too.

Loomis has built and continues to build a lot of great rods. The Tackle Trap is of course a Tackle Tour sponsor and offers excellent deals on Loomis rods to Tackle Tour members anytime, just get in touch!

Many good models. Really have to declare what you want to fish to select.

My all time favorites include NRX 894, NRX 893, GLX BCR 803 (not made any longer) and GLX 843; in that order. I have sold my last 803 to Bigfruits simply because I did not fish it once hooked on the 89 inch rods but it was a gem. The 843 is very sensitive for bottom bouncing yet I can fish topwaters, buzzbaits and even traps on it.

843 NRX is my favorite GLoomis Rod for sure. Light enough tip section to fish lighter plastics if needed, and still has enough power in the lower section to throw big chatterbaits/spinnerbaits(1/2-3/4oz) and 3/4oz lipless without breaking a sweat. Also use it for topwater, jigs, buzzbaits, toads, medium-deep crankbaits. It really is a versatile rod.

I would search the topic one by one. If you don't find great reviews that are plentiful I'd reco you look at other models. It does not mean a rod is bad because it does not get a ton of recommendations but it is a sign of what people like. I have 2 of the 894's and if I felt I needed a 3rd 4 power rod tomorrow, I would get another 894.
