New shimano expride rods

Saw Shimano has new expride rods out on shin fukae Facebook page. Was wondering if anyone had any info if Shimano will offer in the states??? Also have seen crucial and compre rods on closeout on TW. Could Shimano be gearing up to release new series at classic? I wasn't impressed with current crucial rods. Handles were to short and rod was unbalanced. Wishful thinking that hopefully we will see the Camara series make a triumphant return. I have also heard rumblings of zodias punching and flipping rod like in the 7'10 range. Anyways keeping fingers crossed for some new shimano rods released this year. Any info on any of this would be awesome...

I would hope that shimano would bring out a major rod like the expride or adrena. If not, they just waste a years worth of rod sales, which they would not do, sensibly.

Why was the cumulus discontinued? I liked mine quite a bit.

It appears rods are one-piece now and I assume more traditional actions like the NA vs JDM Zodias rods. I wonder if the blank has changed?
