I've got the old model 6'9" ML Feider Jerkbait/light top water and love throwing grand sigletts on it. It's perfect for them.

Ok I just compared 6’9” skipping jig rod to g loomis 843 and 844 7’ glx MBR rods the Tatula is more stout than both of them the 844 has a softer action. Thanks for the info the 7’3” heavy is probably going into the shopping cart as a pitching stick

The 6'9" Skip Jig is hands down one of my favorite rods ever made.

It is a great chatterbait rod when you need to rip them.

It is a sweet big top water rod around cover for pinpoint casts.

It was my go-to frog skipping rod until I started building customs.

Not the most sensitive, but serviceable and I used it more for moving and topwater.

Also super durable, I have beat the living hell out of mine and it is still going strong.
