Broken shimano zodias(What to do?)
So I recently bought a 7ft ml zodias spinning rod off another forum .
When I received the rod it was broken in half about 4 inches above the first guide.
USPS covered the rod and I received a refund from the seller.
However now I am stuck with a busted rod.
Is there anywhere I can send it to have it fixed or will shimano replace it for a fee?

Call Shimano. Worst case scenario, you have a set of guides for a custom build.

If it is a pretty clean break, a good rod builder can probably turn it into a decent 2 piece rod for about $40-50 (plus shipping if required). It sounds like it broke in almost the perfect spot for conversion into 2 piece.

So I called up shimano and they told so me to go through there express rod service.
They send a return label and then give me 50 percent off a new rod.

May as well go with the Expride or Adrena.

doubt you will be able to get an adrena through their warranty service. When my adrena broke, they could not give me another since they did not have any in stock.

Didn't think about that. You could end up with a great travel rod.IlliniDawg01 wrote:If it is a pretty clean break, a good rod builder can probably turn it into a decent 2 piece rod for about $40-50 (plus shipping if required).
