Another quick question... For those who have used both, how would you say the NRX 852c compares to the GLX 852c?

Use would be mainly flukes, small paddles tails on jighead, maybe light topwater and 4" senko in a pinch as well.

Have both, the NRX is a touch softer making it a little more versatile than its glx counterpart

This has been one of my favorite blanks all the way back to the BCR GLX days. I also own the jwr NRX and GLX. To me it's quite a but different in GLX. The glx version is much stiffer, which makes it feel more powerful with a larger lure or a fish in tow. While the NRX is just as fast it feels less powerful. The glx can fish up to 3/8 jig and trailer in a pinch-when I've tried this on my NRX it just won't do it. I like the nrx much more, but it's more of a 1/4 ounce jig rod, and works better for jerkbaits, as it is a little softer as noted by other posters. It should work perfect for your intended purposes.
