Which Megabass rod for 1.5 squarebills?

Between the Jerkbait Special, Flat Side Special, Swingfire and Spinnerbait Special..... which rod would be best suited for 1.5 squarebills?

Over the weekend I caught my personal best on a KVD 1.5 silent squarebill using a light spinning rod not even designed for throwing squarebills (it was a walleye jigging rod 6'6" st croix ml fast action legend elite) and now I'm hooked on this technique.. Need to get myself a dedicated squarebill rod now! Appreciate any advice.

X3 Flatside, but the swingfire is great too if you aren't needing to make tighter casts around cover.

I too will go flatside, I've got one dedicated to baits that size.

Orochi XX F6-70XX Tour Versatile is what I've been using. Works well.

It depends on how and where you fish square bills. In a lot of open water, light cover, etc. the Flat Side is just fine. I prefer the XX Diablo Spec R for fishing square bills around rocks, grass, lay downs, etc. The new 2016 Destroyer Bandersnatch feels like it will make a great target casting square bill rod for more cover oriented fishing too...

I generally add a step or two up in power on everything. It's just a preference from the old broom handle rod days!

Megabass Destroyer jabberwalk 6'8" f4 power. It is an older megabass rod but it's the most awesome square bill rod. I crank a lot of hard cover and the rod is perfect for close quarters fish. Rod has a very parabolic action but has some backbone. I also have a flat side special and that is also a great rod. I like it for more open water situations cranking rip rap or submerged grass. Also work well for small deep running baits.

If you're sticking to the XX lineup, I would go FSS or DSR

My choices...

MB XX Flatside Special or MB Black Jungle Deep Cranking Slow Rolling. Either of these work around wood, rocks, and grass unless you are fishing grass so thick you need a punching weight to get through, then I'd move to a Diablo Spec.
