The review is a few years old, the price is right and the name is solid. Haven't heard much about them. What do you guys think?

One of my local tackle shops had a few of these in stock a year or two ago. I was ready to buy one to try it out but my friend suggested that their were many more rods in that price range with better componenets (guides/reel seat) and construction etc.

I've never fished them but a local shop use to have some. I think they are a bit heavy and the foam handles on them are the rough type. It's not smooth like the ones found on today's rods.
