I am thinking with the strong US $ to Yen that posshe new Steez Rods will be less.
Particularly the Steez-XT Version. Thinking they are the exact same as the current versions except for some newer versions added and lower cost.
The AGS versions will be their TOP SHELF version.

I just wish I could find out what the newer lengths and actions will be.

i have the ags spinning and it's easily the lightest rod i've owned. hard part is finding a reel to balance it properlly...haha. it's very sensitive, i would say right up there with nrx. a bad thing is you can't use leaders.
"right up there with nrx"--that statement def has me intrigued. thx for the input

Is that 8 foot deep crank a GLASS by chance?

I'm wondering the same thing.

Is it a new blank or is it just guides on a older blank?

I know for a fact that there will be some Zillion glass rods coming out after I-Cast. Brett Ehrler has been using a 8 foot prototype for swimbaits and deep cranking this year. Sounds like there May be some additions with a 7-9 frog ( possibly use as swimbait) and a 8 ft deep cranking. And a 7-6 flipping to go with the 8-0 current compile x rods. But also looks like maybe the 71 compile x blank and 72 spinnerbaits- flex lite and 7-4 XBD frog are just additional guides on current blanks. I would say that we got spoiled the last couple years with the Project T and knew a lot more about what was coming out as compared to this year.

I'm pretty sure that a glass frog rod wouldn't work to well.

Can anyone enlighten me on why I should buy a Steez rod over Zillion or Tatula? Having SVF Compile rods for under 300 and 150 is just insane.

Steez rods are much lighter and more balanced.

Agreed...I was speaking of Glass for Cranking...learned thru dealer today that the 8 foot cranking rod in both the AGS and XT version. (So apparently there will be 2-8 footers in the Steez cast rod line????) will both be for Cranking plus another 8 footer in the AGS for Flipping...all three are graphite. and 2 Frog rods--7-4 and 7-6 and the 7-1 is MH 1/4-1

I also confirmed what I knew...there will be 3 zillion glass cranking rods...7-2 Med. med hvy and a 8 footer (1/2-2 oz)
