anyone fished the new Kistler Magnesiums? thinkn bout tryin one as my first Kistler rod

Have not fished the new mags yet but their "old" mags were a great rod for the price-IMO--I am sure you will be very happy with a new mag for your first Kistler =D>

The old mags were great rods. I once had a bunch but I moved on and sold them all. Are the blanks from the new ones NFC or made in China?

Pretty sure the blank are not from NFC or they'd say as much on their website. We have one in for review, but it will be a while before we're able to properly test it - it's a flipping stick.
