Steez Compile-X vs. Poison Adrena for Pitching Stick

Hey all,

I am looking at options for a new pitching stick and am down to either 7'1" Steez Compile-X or the 7'2" Poison Adrena. Both are rated Heavy and both are within range of what I would pitch (jigs, plastics, etc). I can have them both for nearly the same money new so I need some input on one or the other or a bonus would be a comparison. I do not have a shop anywhere close to me that would allow me to get my hands on either of these to make a decision in person. Thanks to all for the input in advance.

Compile-X break very easily. Keep a shipping tube handy.

Mine broke 12" off the tip while swinging a 2lbs bass in the boat.

I haven't fished the Poison Adrena, but I do have the Compile X.

I like just about everything about the Compile X but I don't find it sensitive in my hands. The power and action is all there but not the sensitivity. I think the Poison Adrena more JDM styled as far as action goes. If you want a softer more parabolic rod, the Adrena might be better.

I had the Shimano Cumulus 7'1" and I felt it blew away the Compile X. Both had FC on it but different brands, Suffix on the Cumulus and Sunline Super FC on the Compile X. The difference might have been on the line. I do have the 8' Compile X with braid and it doesn't feel much different sensitivity was than the 7'1" so its up in the air.

You're about an hour from me so if you ever want to try out the Compile X, let me know. I'm in the Akron area. Daiwa has a excellent warranty as I broke my 8' on a accident so don't worry about the rod breakage. I punch with my 8' and throw smaller A-rigs on my 7'1".

Must have had some sort of damage,I punish mine and it holds up like a champ.
I hope you came right with a replacement

Ditto on the damage.
I have two, one I got right after they came out and another I bought a year or two later. Both have caught thousands of fish and no problems at all.
