Need Advice on BEST Flipping Rod...

for okeechobee type cover. gonna be throwing a 1oz weight with 5/0 hook n trailer...what's the absolute best bang for the buck rod I can get for under $400?

looking for a rod that's pretty light, awesome sensitivity, and very well balanced. thx guys!

I'd buy the Megabass Aaron Martens F8-79XX for $299 shipped to your door and put the other $100 in your pocket for something else. I haven't fished any $400 ish or under flipping sticks that I think are superior in terms of build quality, performance, or sensitivity. It's an outstanding flipping stick and an outstanding value at it's price point.

I would look at a Phenix M1 7'8"H its far less than the $400 price tag but its superior in strength and really sensitive. I have punching and flipping grass with it specifically with a 1oz. and a D-BOMB!

Dont rule out the dx795.. what i really like to compare is the dx795 and the f8-79xx

Echo the dx795 or dx745 depending on the method. If punching is in your future, go 795!
