finally...JDM Shimano rods in north america.
Re: finally...JDM Shimano rods in north america.
I am definitely considering the 7'2" Adrena Heavy rod. I will have to see how the construction is on the two-piece... that is the only part that scares me. Looks like a great jig/pitching rod. I have no idea why they would consider a two piece on rods over 7ft when nearly all boat manufacturers are going to 7.5ft rod lockers or bigger

That doesn't seem like that much of a price difference between the two rods.down4ttown wrote:Held them both at the classic. The Expride is around $340 and the Adrena is $359 to $429. Both are work of arts.
Did anyone ask about the warranty and when the official release will be?

A rep at the expo told me that they will most likely be available from some retailers within the next couple of weeks. Didn't ask about warranty though.

Not enough of a selection to blow my kilt up, If there were some BFS rods available, maybe.

Same here. I had a feeling TW wouldn't stock the BFS rods.USA-RET wrote:Not enough of a selection to blow my kilt up, If there were some BFS rods available, maybe.

Man, I was set on ordering an XX Orochi jerkbait special, now these Exprides come out. Looking at the 6'9 medium mod fast. What to do, what to do. What should I do?

I am in for a new Spinning rod and looking at the 6'6"L Adrena for my Twin Power C2000S right now. Anyone have pictures on what they look like? The other rod i was eyeing is the Poison Glorious 2610L-S, do you think the Glorious is a better buy than the Adrena for the solid tip?

The picture on this page shows the handle section of the 6'4"UL with a Vanquish on it.Pen3 wrote:I am in for a new Spinning rod and looking at the 6'6"L Adrena for my Twin Power C2000S right now. I haven't really seen many pictures of the spinning rods to be honest. I personally think that they look and feel really nice in person.

Hmm i do like the look, but $400 for the Adrena 66L or $490 for the Glorious 610L.... Just a $90 differience, i think i will get the Glorious instead.

Anyone own the 1610M? Was planning to get one for an all purpose rod, but looks like it is meant for crankbaits. How would it handle jigs? Not really a fan of the 2 piece or else I'd get the 172H. And Lastly, how does the Adrena compare to the Megabass X4 rods?
