What is your finesse casting rod?

I am now looking for either a Megabass Super Eiger, or possibly a Poison Glorious 166L Bfs. Any ideas into which one is more sensitive? Will probably be pairing it with a Aldebaran BFS XG. Thanks!

The only BFS rod I have with the 'IT' factor is the Jackson Super Trickster STC-63UL. The solid carbon tip is very light, like what you would expect to see on an UL spinning rod, yet the blank is beefy down deep in the lifting section of the rod endowing the rod with some surprising power. The mid section of the rod ties in the two extremes of the blank very well and is the portion of the blank I rely on for distance casting. I really, really like the rod.

Honorable mentions:

Tatula Meagatop: the rod has a nice blend of solid carbon tip softness to target cast BFS baits with medium powered blank oomh to drag fish out from under things. I almost exclusively use the rod to fish docks with flick shakes.

Teton 662 L: I laughed at this noodlely buggy whip when I first drug it out the shipping tube but it has become my go to finesse stick for 2-5 gram hardbaits. It casts little hardbaits far, allows for good action in the bait and soft enough to not rip little trebles out of fishes mouths.

I would seriously look for the MB super eiger. I have used it extensively this season and i can conclude its among the top of my collection in terms of sensitivity - right up there on par with the best of the NRX. Everything about this rod is super impressive and definitely one of the best Out there. I have the 2015 model and have a 15 aldebaran HG on it - perfect match IMO.

Not sure about the new PG rods as there seems to be very little feedback on them as of this point. Could be risky to take the plunge on the PG, but you could always buy both and see which one you like better and sell as needed.

Dont know about the PG 66BFS but I own the 610ML BFS. I have also used my friend's MB SE quite a bit and I dare say that the poison glorious has better sensitivity in my hands. I expect that the 66 stick would feel even more sensitive given the extra fast taper.

Would you mind giving us a review on the two Kuying sticks when you have the time? I went with the LSC-762L but am curious about the ML.

I was a little disappointed by the Kuying Top Caster. Mostly because I mistakenly believed it to have Fuji components, which it does not have. The seller/manufacturer calls the guides "K-series" and the reel seat "ACS" but does specifically write that the rod has Fuji components. I should have purchased the Teton instead of the Top Caster...
The Leadership rod should have Fuji components.

My only dedicated finesse casting rod is my Major Craft Volkey 6'5 UL 2 piece. However, my Crucial 6'8 MF can cast lures down to 1/8oz no problem.

Initial impression of the Kuying Leadership ML is not so good.
The rod has Fuji components, which seem nice enough, and the action is nice for my application (moderate to mod-fast).
The blank is relatively thick for a BFS rod (casting weight 1/8-3/8 oz), and certainly thicker and heavier than my MC N-One BFS 782ML.
Moreover, the rod is tip heavy. With a 2nd gen. Revo STX the point of balance is on the blank just in front of the upper part of the handle (approx. 2" from the reel seat).
Is it value for money? The rod costs 100$, shipping is 20$ or so (and tax/customs were 50$). IMO the rod should be priced around 50-75$.

I will not buy a Kuying rod again.

Thanks for the feedback on the ML Leadership. I like the L model I have but wish it had more backbone and larger diameter blank near the reel seat. It balances out with a Pixy right in front of the foregrip or roughly 2 1/2 inches from the centerline of the reel seat, which is actually pretty good for 7'6'' rod.
