I fish a lot of small clear lakes where you may catch spotted bass, crappie or even bream. I have a Kistler Carbon Steel 6-10 medium light salt water rod paired with a standard Tatula and 10# mono. Fantastic setup for throwing small spinnerbaits and other small baits. I like the full cork handle too.

I'd like to find another one, or something equivalent.

The Falcon Bucoo 7' M makes one heck of a budget finesse rod.

I have tried several that have been mentioned here but I still go back to my Baitbreath Evola rod. I wish they still made them. I only have a few left.

The Recon 2s ain't JDM or sport fancy features but what it does do is cast light, cast accurately and plenty if backbone.

I've been fishing my Pixzilla on a DX742 and it's awesome. Been mainly dropshotting with a 3/16 or 1/4 oz pencil weight on 8lb test. Sensitive enough tip and plenty of backbone to set the hook. It's quickly becoming my favorite combo to fish with.

My OLD 6'8"MF Cumara broke on a 4lb'er yesterday. :-({|=

New finesse rig: PX68 on a DX702!

I see a whole lot of Dobyns' fans here. I can't wait to see what the hype is all about! [-o< 8-[

I have a different rod on my PX68, but loaded Shooter 8lb and its a beast of a light texas setup.
