G.Loomis Superstore

Post by Wachtel » Mon Sep 30, 2013 6:22 am

Hi!

I had first planned to buy a couple of St Croix rods. But didn't like the split grips on the Legend Tournament. Tried the Avid but I didn't like that "bulge" on the handle.

So it's back to the rods I have now, CBR783 and MBR783 G.Loomis. My plan now is to buy the CBR845, MBR782 and maybe the MBR784. Not an easy task on the wrong side of the Atlantic ;)

I found a site called "American Legacy Fishing Company" that looks like it could be the solution. Anyone who knows anything about this company?

Good to hear :)

Another question, do they pack rods properly? I've bought a few rods on the net. Some have been wrapped securely in bubble wrap, some have rattled around in an empty tube.

American Legacy is an excellent company that will give you great customer service and will do an exceptional job of packing your rod. I have purchased many rods from them over the years.

I have recently bought a few rods from them and they did a very good job both with fast shipping and with packing the rod securely.

ALFC have a world wide customer base, so are expert in shipping to this side of the Atlantic. Pack right too.

Shipping is not free for those outside USA and Canada.

ALFC. I have nothing but great things to say about them. They get new Loomis rods months ahead of the competition, offer free shipping, and have amazing customer service. Spent thousands of dollars with them and will continue to every chance I get.

I bought a Pro4x fly rod from them this spring during a rep sample sale when I got the rod and noticed it was not straight. A quick email to them and they had a new rod sent out to me same day with a return label for the imperfect one. When the old rod made it back to them they discounted my rod even further crediting my card back for a significant amount.

They are awesome. A hell of a company, that seems to be lost these days.
