Abu Garcia Volatile rods

Has anyone used abu's new volatile series of rods. I know they are geared more towards inshore fishing but I was hoping someone may have used one. Open to your thoughts.

I was going to grab one on the last sale, but I've been kinda turned off lately by anything Abu. I just dumped all my Veritas rods for one reason or another that had to do with QC issues. I am still debating on one, but I'm going to wait for more reviews to come out first.

Thanks for the reply, I'll probably wait also. I wish someone local carried them so I could really check them out. What's some of the issues you've had with your Abu rods?

Handled the Volatile...was not impressed. The 8' Heavy weighed a ton.

The new Fenwick (may even be the same blank for all I know) was much better.
