I forgot to mention that I want the rod to pair with my pixy.
I bought a dobyns dx701c, and it is too long for my pixy.

Have that blank custom built for you in a casting rod.

I had a factory St Croix LTB drop shot casting rod (6'10" MLXF) that I liked, but just felt there was something not quite right with it.. So I had a custom built on the same blank with micro guides and a full grip. With the same blank and different guides it is a totally different stick! One of my fav's. And it pairs so well with a pixy!
