Well, I got the rod...
Nice rod - looks and weight wise. The balance is not super impressive for a rod that light...
One major problem - There is way to much flex in the reel seat area.
Biggest bass I've caught with it so far was 3lbs and with every fish I can feel the reel moving. NOT a good feeling.

RECON? I think I would RECONsider. :-({|=

I suggest that you contact Phenix and discuss the problem. Maybe you have a defective rod.
